Chad met Derek at a homelessness charity event they immediately clicked over their passion for working in the community. Turned out, this super nice dude is actually a super nice badass. We couldn’t wait to capture his complexity.
In planning the shoot, it was obvious that Derek’s portfolio needed to tell his whole story: quality human and ferocious MMA fighter. Thus, we featured Derek in and out of the ring. His infectious smile in headshots paired against an unfolding of martial arts moves created the exact contrast that defines Cooper’s charisma.
